KUWAIT CITY, June 21: Director of Jahra Health Zone Dr Ahmad AlHusseini says works for maintenance, rehabilitation and restoration of South Sulaibiya clinic is underway to ensure the best services can be offered to patients, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Concerning a report titled “Sulaibiya clinic does not have doors” that was published in the daily recently, Dr Al-Husseini insisted that the clinics have been provided with curtains which are to be closed when a patient enters an examination room in order to ensure the privacy of patients.

He denied that the doors were removed due to desire to close the clinic and stop offering health services to patients.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Public Works has asked Central Tenders Committee to approve the project related to Mutla drainage station after the committee rejected it previously, reports Al-Rai daily.

Assistant Undersecretary for Health Engineering Affairs at Ministry of Public Works Abdulmohsen Al-Enzi affirmed that the ministry intends to execute the project based on a time schedule in coordination with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW).

He indicated that the ministry held several meetings with many concerned authorities for approval to float the tender after it was rejected by Central Tenders Committee.
