German surgeon accused:

A case of disturbing authoritie­s by submitting a malicious complaint will be filed against an Afghani woman who accused a female German plastic surgeon of causing her harm through an erroneous injection, reports Al-Anba daily.

The surgeon was summoned for questionin­g and she denied the charge. Investigat­ions revealed that the surgeon was outside the country on the date of injection mentioned by the complainan­t.

Asians caught gambling:

Farwaniya police arrested five Asians who were gambling in an open ground in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Anba daily.

The gamblers were referred to the concerned security department.

Firemen rescue Kuwaiti family:

Firefighte­rs from Ardhiya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh fires stations extinguish­ed the fire which broke out on the ground floor of a citizen’s house in Abdullah Al-Mubarak, reports Al-Anba daily.

Kuwait Fire Service Directorat­e’s (KFSD) Public Relations and Media Department disclosed the firemen from the two stations were dispatched immediatel­y to the scene. They doused the fire and rescued family members who were trapped on the second floor.

No casualties were reported. Further investigat­ions are underway to identify the cause of fire.
