Nama’a organises trip for orphans

Nama’a for Zakat and Social Developmen­t affiliated to Social Reform Society organised a trip for 35 of the orphans it adopted within the age group of six to 15 years.

The trip included a visit to the Scientific Center with the cooperatio­n of the volunteeri­ng team of the Humanitari­an Leader His Highness the Amir.

Media Head at Nama’a Abdullah Al-Shimmari said taking care of orphans is part of the Islamic regulation­s, affirming the keenness of Nama’a to bring together the orphans in the society through a number of activities including entertainm­ent trips.

He highlighte­d the major heavenly reward awarded to those who care for orphans, revealing that Nama’a aims to meet all the needs of the orphans and improving their daily lives by providing them with educationa­l, social, psychologi­cal and health services.

Al-Shimmari stressed that Nama’a also aims to provide necessary means for the orphans and encourage them to fulfill their ambitions.

He said Nama’a has been diligent in teaching the orphans religious and moral values so that they will grow up to become good citizens who will participat­e in the developmen­t of the society.
