Tajikistan envoy lauds Amir’s effort to resolve Gulf crisis

Kuwait’s role in UNSC praised

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: Tajikistani Ambassador to Kuwait HE Dr Zubaydullo Zubaydov praised the efforts exerted by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in seeking to resolve the Gulf crisis, and the humanitarian role he plays in spreading peace and offering relief to the suffering people worldwide without discrimination, affirming that the efforts of His Highness the Amir are appreciated throughout the world, reports Aljarida daily.

During an interview, Ambassador Zubaydov stressed that the Kuwaiti mediation role in the Gulf crisis serves as a good example of the role of His Highness the Amir’s call for peace, reconciliation and love, adding that the Amir’s journey is laden with tenderness coupled with his belief in long-term humanitarian action without seeking any return of favor or political response to his attitude towards the world at large.

He praised Kuwait’s role in the UN Security Council, describing what it has done so far as “a great achievement for Kuwait’s foreign policy”.

Ambassador Zubaydov also highlighted Kuwait’s distinctive role in international peace and security, lauding its efforts for supporting preventive diplomacy, resolving disputes peacefully and contributing to humanitarian issues that contribute to international peace and security, especially since every crisis produces humanitarian problems such as internally displaced persons, refugees, and lack of humanitarian aid reaching the needy.
