Qatar Airways launches sales promotion in ME, Pakistan

Promotion includes fabulous fares, opportunit­y to earn bonus

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 7: Qatar Airways is pleased to announce its latest regional sales promotion, offering passengers in the Middle East and Pakistan the chance to take advantage of fabulous fares to destinatio­ns across the airline’s extensive global network, including the US, Europe and Asia.

Qatar Airways Privilege Club members travelling in Premium Class or Economy Class will be able to earn 100 per cent bonus Qmiles, in addition to 50 per cent bonus Qpoints in Business Class for every return trip. This special sales offer runs from 6 -13 August 2018, with travel validity from 6 August until 10 December 2018. The promotion is valid in Kuwait, Oman, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan.

Passengers flying on Qatar Airways B777, B787, A350, A380, and select A320 and A330 aircraft can also stay in touch with friends and family around the world by using the airline’s on-board Wi-Fi service. The award-winning airline is the first airline in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) to provide gate-to-gate internet connectivi­ty onboard, with Qatar Airways passengers able to enjoy uninterrup­ted internet connectivi­ty from the moment they step onboard.

Passengers travelling to London can experience Qatar Airways’ state-of-the-art A350-1000, the latest member of the Airbus widebody aircraft portfolio, which currently operates daily non-stop service between Doha and London. Beginning commercial operations in February 2018, the A350-1000 offers a total of 327 seats across two cabins, with 46 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 281 18-inch extra wide Economy Class seats. The aircraft offers enhanced levels of passenger comfort, thanks to the lowest twinengine noise level of any aircraft, advanced air conditioni­ng technology and full LED mood lighting.

A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by internatio­nal air transport rating organisati­on Skytrax. It was also named ‘Best Business Class Seat,’ ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge.’

Qatar Airways currently operates a fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its home and hub, Hamad Internatio­nal Airport, to more than 150 destinatio­ns worldwide. Earlier this year, the airline revealed a host of forthcomin­g global destinatio­ns in line with its expedited expansion plans, including Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Langkawi, Malaysia and Da Nang, Vietnam.
