Mourners pay respects to late Sheikha Fareeha Al-Sabah
His Highness sends cables to express gratitude for the warm sentiments
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah welcomed mourners at Bayan Palace on Tuesday, where they offered their condolences over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The mourners included international diplomats as well as the UAE’s State Minister for Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the Qatari Amir’s personal representative Sheikh Jassem bin Mohammad Al-Thani along with the accompanying delegation.
Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Governor of Bahrain’s Southern Governorate Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa and Chairman of Bahrain’s Basketball Association Sheikh Essa bin Ali Al-Khalifa were also among those who expressed their sympathies over Sheikha Fareeha’s death.

In response to these, he sent cables to express gratitude for their warm sentiments.
His Highness the Amir received on Monday cables of condolences from Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz AlSaud.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Monday received a cable of condolences from Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
He also received a similar cable on Monday from Qatar’s Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani who expressed his heartfelt sorrow over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
His Highness the Amir also received a cable of condolences from Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
He also received a similar cable on Monday from the Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa who expressed his deepest condolences over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
In addition, His Highness the Amir also received Monday a cable of condolences from Bahraini Crown Prince, Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad received Monday a cable of condolences from UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.

He also received a similar cable from UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum who expressed his heartfelt sorrow over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
Furthermore, His Highness the Amir received similar cable of condolences from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
On Tuesday, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad received a cable of condolences from Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Saeed over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
Also, His Highness the Amir received on Monday a cable of condolences from the Jordanian King Abdullah II, over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
On Monday, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah received a phone call from the Egyptian President Abdulfatah el-Sisi who expressed condolences over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha. His Highness the Amir thanked the Egyptian leader for his call and sincere sentiments.
His Highness the Amir received Monday a cable of condolences from the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr Ahmad Al-Tayyeb over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
On Monday, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad received a phone call from the Leader of Iraqi National Coalition and National Wisdom Movement of Iraq Ammar Al-Hakim, who expressed his condolences over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Highness the Amir thanked the Iraqi official for his call and warm sentiments.
On Tuesday, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad received a number of cables of condolences from many top officials of the United Arab Emirates over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.They all expressed their deepest condolences over the deceased, praying Almighty Allah to bestow mercy upon her soul.
In detail, he received cables of condolences from the Ruler of Ajman Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi and Deputy Ruler of Ajman Sheikh Nasser Bin Rashid AlNuaimi.
He also received cables of condolences from the Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al-Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Ahmad Bin Sultan Al-Qasimi and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al-Qasimi.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad received condolences from the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al-Mualla, and Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain Sheikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al-Mualla.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah received on Monday a cable of condolences from the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He also received a similar cable from the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum who expressed his condolences over the passing away of Sheikha Fareeha.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf also received condolences in this regard from Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
