Independence Day of India: The 72nd Independence Day of India will be celebrated in the Embassy premises on Wednesday, 15th August 2018. The unfurling of the National Flag will take place at 0800 hours followed by singing of the National Anthem and presentation of patriotic songs by the community associations. All Indian nationals in Kuwait are cordially invited to attend.
Embassy of Bangladesh: The Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Kuwait will remain closed on Aug 15, 2018 on the occasion of the National Mourning Day and 43rd Death Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Embassy will arrange the following program to observe the above mentioned day on Wednesday, 15 August 2018 at the Chancery. Chancery Roof: 09:00 am: Ceremonial hoisting of National Flag at half-mast. Multipurpose Hall: 09:15 am: Recitation from the Holy Quran.
09:21 am: Observance of one minute silence.
09:22 am: Reading out of the Messages. 09:30 am: Documentary film show. 09:45 am. Discussion on the Day. 10:45 am: Speech by H.E. the Ambassador. 11:00 am: Dowa & Monajat. This is for information of all concerned.
