Students for higher studies in Cairo should visit Kuwait’s Cultural Office

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: Kuwait Cultural Office in Cairo affirmed that the procedures for admission to higher studies courses are different from the procedures in the academic phase, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a source from the office, a student seeking to register for higher studies must visit the office along with the admission letter from the university, citizenshi­p papers and a statement of primary admission.

Meanwhile, the committee responsibl­e for the “Times Exams”, which will be applied in April 2019, is working on printing the notes and papers of these examinatio­ns for the students of fourth and eighth grades, reports Aljarida daily quoting informed sources from the educationa­l sector.

They indicated that these notes will be distribute­d to the schools based on the number of students during the current week.

The sources revealed that a circular will be issued and instructio­ns will be given to teachers not to print these notes and wait for the relevant committee before distributi­ng the notes for free to the students.

Furthermor­e Ministry of Education is working on implementi­ng the Japanese “Kaizen” experiment­al educationa­l method to improve the performanc­e of principals and assistant principals delegated by the ministry to work in private schools, reports Al-Nahar daily.

The ministry has realized the need to develop the administra­tive and legal skills as well as functional attitude of the management­s and the skills for dealing with the heads and subordinat­es.

In this regard, General Department for Private Education has been preparing workshops and courses for their employees in order to enhance their efficiency and leadership abilities.
