Kuwait Dive Team removes sunken boat from Fahaheel Sea Club waters
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25, (KUNA): Kuwait Dive Team (KDT) of Environmental Voluntary Foundation (EVF) lifted a five-ton sunken boat on Tuesday from Fahaheel Sea Club in cooperation with the club officials.
The team was able to lift the 32 feet sunken boat by using air suction pumps, Head of Maritime Operations Waleed Al-Shatti told KUNA.
Al-Shatti called on boat owners and fishermen to preserve the environment of the area and called for tightening relevant laws against violators to protect the marine environment of Kuwait.

the Public Authority for Sports Dr Saqr Al-Mulla denied on Tuesday reports circulated through social media on the dissolution of sports club boards and the formation of temporary committees, stressing that such reports are “baseless.”
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Mulla said that the six-party committee, which is formed by the International Olympic Committee, is working to supervise the road map to lift the suspension of external sports activity.
Al-Mulla called on all who work in the sports fields to be careful when dealing with sport news, or suspension, especially in current developments, which require concerted efforts to lift the suspension permenantly.
