Bedoun youth held for stabbing GCC man
390 face Instagram insult lawsuits

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: A Bedoun youth was arrested for stabbing a GCC expatriate in his shoulder during a fight between them in Jahra Governorate.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. Upon arrival, they discovered that a passerby took the injured man to Jahra Hospital. After they spoke to the man, they discovered that he was stabbed by a Bedoon youth during a quarrel between them. Securitymen arrested the suspect, and was informed during interrogations that the quarrel was based on an ongoing dispute between them.
The suspect was arrested and detained in the police station of the area.
Instagram insults:
Attorney Zaid AlKhabaz has unveiled his firm’s plan to file 390 complaints against those who insulted their clients on Instagram.
In a press statement, Al-Khabaz disclosed the Electronic Crimes Section in the firm conducted preliminary investigations, hence, the decision to file complaints against persons known to the firm. He claimed these persons have been insulting the firm’s clients through the social media application Instagram.
He added that he also submitted 100 complaints against 200 offenders who criticized other people.
He said he is working on a specialized program with experts, stressing he does not file complaints against unknown persons.
No casualties in mishap:
A jeep toppled near Ahmadi Security Directorate due to excessive speeding resulting in a huge material loss but no human casualty. A case was registered.
A security source said the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received information about the incident and dispatched security men accompanied by paramedics to the scene. The driver was without injury when pulled out of the wreckage. Security men dealt with the incident and traffic was restored.
