‘Nepotism’ in ministry

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: The Public Prosecution is investigating a new case of embezzlement in the Ministry of Health. A wellinformed source said the Money Prosecution, during investigation discovered the existence of favoritism to facilitate to obtain public funds through tenders for medicines, reports AlQabas daily.

The source confirmed the Prosecution has ordered the detention of a senior doctor from the Ministry of Health and the owner of a pharmaceutical company.

The source pointed the men are charged with favoritism, bribery and facilitating transgression on public money through tenders.
