Five persons were arrested in Salmi as they were found to be wanted by law for involvement in financial and criminal cases.
Securitymen launched an inspection campaign late night along Salmi Motorway and this resulted in the arrest of the five suspects who were then referred to the concerned security department.
Duo caught with drugs:
Two youths were arrested in Jahra for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia.
While patrolling the area, a team of securitymen signaled for the driver of a vehicle to pull over for routine inspection. When the officers approached the vehicle, they found out there were two youths inside who appeared agitated. This prompted them to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle, leading to the discovery of the abovementioned items.
A case was registered and the two youths were referred to Drug Control General Department along with the confiscated items.
Trust betrayal case filed:
The lawyer of a digging company filed a betrayal of trust case against a Kuwaiti employee who received server computer from the company but refused to return it.
The lawyer said a company official had earlier asked the citizen to return the computer but the latter refused to do so. When securitymen contacted the accused, he switched off his mobile phone.
A case was registered and investigations are underway.
Hunt begins for drifters:
Search is ongoing for two young men who appeared in a video, which went viral on social media, driving recklessly and performing dangerous stunts at a roundabout in Fahaheel area.
After viewing the video, securitymen took necessary action and launched investigations to find and arrest the two reckless drivers.
