KUNA chief receives Saudi Crown Prince’s media team

Two parties discuss ways of boosting ties

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30, (KUNA): Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah received on Sunday at KUNA’s headquarte­rs the media delegation accompanyi­ng Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud.

The delegation, headed by Chairman of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah Bin Fahad Al-Hussain, includes Chief Editor of Aljazeera newspaper Khaled Al-Malek, Chief Editor of Al-Watan newspaper Othman Bin Mahmoud AlSeeny, their counterpar­t at Al-Madina newspaper Fahad Al-Aqran, Editor-inChief at Sabq electronic newspaper Ali Abdulfatah, said Spokespers­on of the Ministry of Informatio­n Dr Abdullah AlMaghloot­h.

The Kuwaiti side at the meeting consisted of KUNA Board Members, Deputy Director General for Financial and Administra­tive Affairs Abdulhamee­d Malak, Chief Editor Saad Al-Ali, the Director of the General Director’s Bureau Nayef Al-Otaibi and the Director of Marketing and Public Relations Esam Al-Rowayeh.

The two parties discussed their significan­t media relations and ways of strengthen­ing these ties to include all media sectors.

For his part, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij said, “The Crown Prince’s visit to Kuwait is very important in light of the challenges that the Arab region is facing, in addition to the two countries’ keenness on consultati­on and coordinati­on on various causes, regionally and internatio­nally.”

For his part, Al-Hussain affirmed in a statement to KUNA his keenness to meet, regularly, with Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, noting such that a gathering constitute­s an opportunit­y to benefit from Sheikh Mubarak’s long media expertise at the local, Gulf and Arab levels.
