Kuwait, UAE discuss strategy to prepare ‘youths’ for future
ABU DHABI, Oct 2, (KUNA): UAE’s Chairman of National Service and Reserve Authority, Air Vice-Marshal Sheikh Ahmad AlNahyan met on Monday with the Chairman of Kuwait’s National Military Service, Major General Mohammad Al-Khuder to discuss areas of national military service.
Sheikh Ahmad received Al-Khuder along with the delegation accompanying him in Abu Dhabi.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Khuder said that the goal of this visit is to exchange experiences and adopt new strategies in the field of national service, and also discuss major awareness, health, and educational programs which contributes to preparing the new generations to graduate with the ability to defend and protect their country.
This meeting is part of continuous cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait within the GCC, added AlKhuder.
Al-Khuder pointed to the keenness of Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah AlAhmad Al-Sabah and the Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khuder on developing combat efficiency of Kuwait’s Armed Forces and advancing the capabilities of the Kuwaitis enlisted in the national service, as a civic duty.
Accompanying Major General Al-Khuder during this visit which will last for four days is Kuwait’s Military Attache in the UAE Colonel Yousef Qambar.
