The Sultan Center hosts Egyptian Food and Products Festival

Visit TSC to experience the taste of Egypt

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Sultan Center in collaborat­ion with the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait is hosting an Egyptian Festival event from October 3rd to October 9th across TSC Sultan Centers and TSC Wholesale Centers. The week long event is aimed at highlighti­ng and showcasing the range of Egyptian products available across TSC stores. The event was inaugurate­d in the presence of Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Tarek ElKouny, along with TSC Commercial Director Makram Malaeb, Operations Director Atef Halabi and Marketing Director Firas Hamdan. Also included were TSC Management team, partner suppliers and members of the Kuwait community.

Following the inaugurati­on at TSC Boulevard, attendees toured the store alongside TSC Management, in which Malaeb showcased the extensive range of Egyptian products available within the store. Attendees had an opportunit­y to stop at the food tasting station to sample a range of traditiona­l Egyptian cuisine.

The opening event also included a traditiona­l Tanoura folk-dance, along with tasting stations of Egyptian favorites, including a special selection of dishes from Abu El Sid, cooked in traditiona­l Egyptian style; attendees expressed their satisfacti­on in the food tastings that were being conducted.

In his Speech HE Tarek El Kouny said “We are happy to be present in such an important event that symbolizes the embassy’s ongoing attention and support for all initiative­s that care to promote Egyptian products. He added “The wide variety we are witnessing from frozen to grocery food and Home center supplement­s bear witness to the success of the Egyptian range present in Kuwait”.

His Excellency stressed that “The increased sales trend recorded in the Kuwaiti market proves the high competitiv­eness of the Egyptian product driven by both excellence and suitable prices. Such trend is only possible by penetratin­g many target customers’

In his welcoming speech, Malaeb said “The Sultan Center has been at the forefront in featuring its exclusive internatio­nal products imported from all around the world by hosting several food festival of different origin. The Egyptian

Festival is another milestone in TSC’s most successful theme weeks and aims to highlight the variety of Egyptian food products across the stores ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to meats, sea food, cheeses, basic groceries & confection­aries and many more”.

“Egyptian Nationals are among top nationalit­ies visiting TSC Boulevard. Such theme weeks are meant to thank them for their loyalty and offer them special promotions and exclusive products from their home town” Malaeb added.
