KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Literature Dr Abdullah Al-Qatam said it is difficult for the faculty to implement the Segregation Law as female students outnumber males and there are classes that should be attended by male and female students, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Speaking to the daily, he affirmed the faculty is abiding by the university bylaws and regulations and it applies the Segregation Law according to circumstances and the number of subjects.

He clarified that segregation is not in the interest of students and the faculty, pointing out there are only a few students in some subjects and the faculty cannot open one subject for two or three students which may cause problem for the teaching staff.

Meanwhile, Department of Finance and Financial Institutions, with the cooperation of the Finance Club in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at Kuwait University, organized recently a seminar titled “Investment in Turkey A Success Story despite Challenges”.
