Sponsored by KIB, Al-Fadhil, Al-Omar nab top honors at Int’l Jet Ski Championship
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: In a continuation of its ongoing support of sportsrelated activities and talented local youth, KIB sponsored two world champions, Abdullah Al-Fadhil and Abdulrahman Al-Omar at the International Jet Ski Championship. The championship was recently held at Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
KIB expressed its honor in sponsoring these accomplished, young champions who continue to raise Kuwait’s standing internationally. The bank also lauded their outstanding performance throughout their athletic career, as Kuwaiti Jet-Skier Abdullah Al-Fadhil ranked third in the Senior Pro Ski Category at the end of the championship; thereby promoting Kuwait across some of the strongest categories in the tournament. Moreover, Al-Fadhil, the only Arab participant in this category, competed alongside 16 of the most accomplished athletes across the globe. National champion, Abdulrahman Al-Omar, was also awarded a gold medal in the Stock Asp Nat Runabout Pro-am event, as well as a silver medal in the Expert Runabout Stock Category.
KIB also pointed out that this sponsorship came as part of its impactful social responsibility program that aims at supporting sports activities and helping talented local youth excel across various local, regional and international tournaments. Additionally, the bank supports these initiatives in order to improve the abilities of youth and support their aspirations to become capable leaders that build a better future for the nation.
