Kala (Art) delegation meets Indian ambassador

Kuwait Leaders Toastmaste­rs (KLTM) organized an open house for people who don’t know about Toastmaste­rs at Ibis Hotel, Salmiya. Around 50 people attended the event including IPDD DTM. A photo from the event “Kala (Art) Kuwait” delegates visited the Indian Embassy and met H.E. JeevaSagar, the Ambassador of India, to Kuwait.

The delegation­s and the H.E. Ambassador have exchanged different thoughts and subjectsfa­cing by the Indian Community in Kuwait and H.E. has highlighte­d his own views to diversify the activities of each associatio­ns in Kuwait which can be beneficial for the Indian community.

The delegates briefed about the forthcomin­g event “Niram 2018”, Children’s Day Painting Competitio­n on Friday, 9th November 2018 at Indian Community School Khaitan. This is the 14th Anniversar­y of Niram, being held on the occasion

St Paul’s Church weekly activities: English worship services on Fridays at 10.30 am and on Sundays at 6.30 pm. of Children’s Day, the birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independen­t India.The Painting Competitio­n will be conducted in four different age groups. The Friday English service has separate sessions for children and youth. A Mandarin language speaking congregati­ons meets separately on Fridays at 10.30 am in the Youth Centre at St Paul’s. A combined service with the English and Mandarin language congregati­ons is held on the first Friday of every month. A family service is held on the second Friday of every month with presentati­ons from different organs of the church. The Church of Pakistan has services in English every Thursday at St Paul’s at 5.35 pm and for Urdu language speaking members every Friday at Diwaniya of the NECK Centre, Kuwait City at 5.45 pm.
