Kala (Art) delegation meets Indian ambassador
Kuwait Leaders Toastmasters (KLTM) organized an open house for people who don’t know about Toastmasters at Ibis Hotel, Salmiya. Around 50 people attended the event including IPDD DTM. Mohammed Makhlouf, Div E Director TM Ram Kumar and Area Directors TM Gayathri Ravindran and TM Rana Aloush. The event was sponsored by
World Wide Settlement solutions. KLTM meets every 1st and 3rd Fridays at SPCL Rumethiya from 9-11 am.

A photo from the event “Kala (Art) Kuwait” delegates visited the Indian Embassy and met H.E. JeevaSagar, the Ambassador of India, to Kuwait.
The delegations and the H.E. Ambassador have exchanged different thoughts and subjectsfacing by the Indian Community in Kuwait and H.E. has highlighted his own views to diversify the activities of each associations in Kuwait which can be beneficial for the Indian community.
The delegates briefed about the forthcoming event “Niram 2018”, Children’s Day Painting Competition on Friday, 9th November 2018 at Indian Community School Khaitan. This is the 14th Anniversary of Niram, being held on the occasion
St Paul’s Church weekly activities: English worship services on Fridays at 10.30 am and on Sundays at 6.30 pm. of Children’s Day, the birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India.The Painting Competition will be conducted in four different age groups. Parents also have the opportunity to win prizes for Open Canvas Painting.

The Friday English service has separate sessions for children and youth. A Mandarin language speaking congregations meets separately on Fridays at 10.30 am in the Youth Centre at St Paul’s. A combined service with the English and Mandarin language congregations is held on the first Friday of every month. A family service is held on the second Friday of every month with presentations from different organs of the church. The Church of Pakistan has services in English every Thursday at St Paul’s at 5.35 pm and for Urdu language speaking members every Friday at Diwaniya of the NECK Centre, Kuwait City at 5.45 pm.
