BBQ Nights by the beach back at Jumeirah

Opening night celebrated with African culture and cuisine

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait’s idyllic resort, has launched the new season of its unforgetta­ble Barbecue Nights by the beach. The special evening was attended by His Excellency Mzolisa Bona, Ambassador Extraordin­ary and Plenipoten­tiary of South Africa to Kuwait and Embassy representa­tives following a week of cultural cooperatio­n to bring the rich and diverse cultural and gastronomi­c heritage of the Southern African Countries to Kuwait.

The festival of culture and cuisine enthralled guests with live music from a variety of African bands and a diverse offering of culinary classics from a country renowned for its barbecuing. Award-wining guest chefs, flown in for the event were on hand to share their secrets of Southern African cuisine to complete the experience.
