‘Apply law’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: Fire Prevention Department in Capital Governorate, with the cooperation of Kuwait Municipality, launched an inspection campaign in Souk Mubarakiya to remove violations and apply the law.

In a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), the Public Relations and Media Department of KFSD explained that the campaign was held in various commercial shops located in Souk Mubarakiya, during which citations were issued against some shops and buildings for unorganized storage, which would block the emergency exits in case of any fire incidents.

The department affirmed that such inspection campaigns will continue in all governorates in order to ensure fire prevention regulations are followed and any violations in this regard are removed.
