t’s time to ask ourselves: If it is now possible to live a life that involves delicious food and drink, delivers better health, leaves a smaller carbon footprint and avoids killing other creatures - then why don’t we? By going vegan, you will be doing a world of good for your personal health, as most of the chronic Western diseases we have become accustomed to like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, dementia, Alzheimer’s, etc are all closely related with the meat heavy Western American diet, and studies show eating a plant-based diet can not only prevent these diseases, but also arrest and even reverse their progression, which is remarkably undiscussed in the modern medical world unfortunately. That being said, if you are vegan, but also a heavy smoker and alcoholic, you will still be doing damage to your health. Last week I invited my friends to Ginger in a small cozy vegan restaurant in Kuwait City at Al Muthana Complex. Instagram gingerkw. We had the order of all vegan-based food like parsley juice, vegan tom yum, broccoli stew, steamed rice and more the food was incredibly healthy for me, but not stomach filler for my friends, however they are convinced now the idea of being in a healthy lifestyle by going vegan it’s all starts with try and I advise you to try Ginger!
