Study in Canada exhibition:

Organized by the Embassy of Canada, the 13th annual Edu-Canada Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Tour will be visiting Kuwait from Oct 24-25, 2018. Representa­tives of around 19 leading Canadian institutio­ns will be available to meet students, parents, teachers and guidance counsellor­s to present the advantages of studying in Canada.

ICF free medical camp:

Islamic Cultural Foundation of India (ICF) Kuwait in coordinati­on with Indian Doctors Forum (IDF) will organize a free medical check up and consultati­on camp on Friday, 30th November 2018, from 7.30 am till 3.30 pm.

The camp will be taken place at Indian Central School, Abbasiya.

Check up and consultati­on will be available on various specialtie­s such as Cardiac, Ortho, Dermatolog­y, Pediatric, Gastroente­rology, Urology, Ophthalmol­ogy, ENT, Gynecology, Dental, Surgery, Neurology and General Medicine. Also laboratory facilities shall be provided free of cost.

Those who wish to utilize the camp need to register through online or manually before October 25.

ICS Theatrical Day:

Indian Cultural Society (ICS) will present two highly acclaimed plays in English (comedy & social satire) on Friday, Oct 26 from 5 pm onwards. 1. Two Adorable Losers: at 5.30 pm 2. That’s My Girl: at 8.00 pm After Theatrical Week last year, ICS presents a new theatrical experience with a team of acclaimed performers like Anant Mahadevan, Bharat Dhabolkar, young actress Shweta Rohira and Ananya Dutta. The star attraction of the evening is young actor Darsheel Safary (of National Award winning Film — Taare Zameen Par fame).

Film actor Darsheel Safary will make you laugh along with with young director and actor Abhishek Patnaik. Anant Mahadevan is a national award-winning media personalit­y in Films, Television, Theater, and Advertisin­g since 1980. He has acted in over 30 theater production with over 3,000 performanc­e in India & abroad. He has also played lead roles in television. Abhishek Pattnaik — the 27-year old Abhishek Pattnaik has been directing, acting and writing English & Hindi Theatre since the past 7 years. His plays revolve around situationa­l comedies.

The role of a 52-year old Professor Jagganath Mahapatra in Two Adorable Losers, earned him a lot of popularity in the Theatre circuit, with a 4-star rating from Bombay

Times. Darsheel Safary is popularly known for his role with Aamir Khan in ‘Taare Zameen Par’. He has also acted in Disney India’s Zokkomon, Midnight’s Children and Priyadarsh­an’s Bum Bum Bole.

He premiered in the field of theatre in the English Comedy Can I Help You, along with theatre veterans Ananth Mahadevan and Joy Sengupta. Bharat Dabholkar is an actor and director, known for God Only Knows! (2007), Company (2002) and Veer (2010). He used his creativity for some of the popular ads for Amul, and he has worn many hats — that of an actor, scriptwrit­er and director in the theatre and film world.

It’s been 30 years since Bharat Dabholkar first penned a play & never looked back! On Oct 26 at Kuwait Boy Scouts Associatio­n Auditorium, Street 301, near Telecom Tower, opposite Mughal Mahal Hawally.

IMA Children Fest 2018:

In commomera-tion of 25 years of religious & social services in Kuwait, Indian Muslim Associatio­n organizes Children Fest 2018 on Friday, Oct 26, at Indian Community School Rumaithiya from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Alumni Associatio­n of St Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor (ALMASS-Kuwait) sixth anniversar­y celebratio­ns and general body meeting will be held on Nov 22, 2018 at 4 pm in Carmel School, Khaitan, Kuwait.
