KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Administrative Court ordered the Ministry of Health to pay KD 6,000 compensation to a female employee for the damages she suffered due to her demotion, reports Annahar daily.

Final verdicts:

A high percentage of final court verdicts have not been implemented and a number of undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries are involved in these cases, reports Al-Jaridah daily quoting sources.

Sources said some ministries and public authorities did not implement final court verdicts on more than 200 criminal cases in 10 months this year.

Sources disclosed most of these cases were filed against the ministries of Health, Education and Justice, and the Public Authority for Handicapped Affairs. Sources said many officials refrained from implementing these judicial verdicts issued under the name of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Sources added when the Public Prosecution informed the concerned institutions about the verdicts, some of them immediately implemented the decision of the judiciary while others delayed it.

Maids offices:

Ministry of Interior disclosed that several violations have been issued against domestic labor offices for sheltering absconding workers, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

A statement issued by the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media indicates the campaign was part of efforts by the Domestic Labor Section at the Directorate General for Residency Affairs to pursue absconding workers.

It affirmed that individuals arrested have since been referred to relevant authorities for legal action, and the campaign will continue over an indeterminate period across all six governorates .
