Kala (Art) honors ‘NIRAM 2018’ painting competition winners

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Kala (Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2018” Children’s Day painting competition has concluded with the prize distribution to all winners at a colorful ceremonial function held at Indian Community School, Khaitan on Dec 7. The program was witnessed by Indian embassy officials, community leaders, business personalities, school principals, art teachers and media representatives. The painting competition was held on the occasion of the birthday of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of Independent India.
Anoop Singh, Attache-Administration, Embassy of India, Kuwait inaugurated the function and appreciated all winners for their fabulous painting works, which were displayed at the entrance. Anoop Singh appreciated the organizers for conducting such programs.
The spectacular evening started with the National Anthem of Kuwait followed by India. The welcome speech was addressed by Sunil Kumar. General Secretary, Kala (Art) Kuwait. Organization President Samkutty Thomas chaired the function. NIRAM-2018 program reporting done by General Convener Mukesh V. P. and Judging Assessment was briefed by Niram-2018 Judge Sasikrishnan. The program was enriched by the presence of the chief dignitaries on the dais, Noufel, representative of American Tourister, Ranjith Pillai, Manager, UNIMONI Exchange, Satheesh, Faber Castle, Dr Ameer Ahmad, Chairman, Help Kerala, Sunoj Nambiar, Babu Francis, Kerala Loka Sabha Member, Community Leaders Joy Mundekkad and Aniyan Kunju.
