Penn tops No. 17 Villanova, ends Wildcats’ Big 5 streak

PHILADELPH­IA, Dec 12, (AP): A.J. Brodeur and Antonio Woods each scored 16 points as Penn beat No. 17 Villanova 7875 on Tuesday night, the Quakers’ first win over the Wildcats since 2002.

Sacramento State (5-2), trailing 37-35 at the intermissi­on, held the Hawks to just two points in the final 10 minutes of the game as the Hornets closed out the scoring on a 29-2 run.
