Audiences of HH the Amir and HH the Crown Prince
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace on Sunday.
His Highness also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who asked for His Highness Sheikh Sabah’s approval to head to Jordan for an official visit.
Moreover, His Highness the Amir separately received President of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Constitutional Court and President of the Cassation Court Justice Yousef Al-Mutawaa, Acting National Assembly Speaker Essa Al-Kandari.
Meanwhile, His Highness met First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Fahad Al-Yaqoub, Lieutenant Col Salem Al-Meil and Major Nasser Fawaz Al-Sabah who registered a new record in Guinness Book after jumping with the flag of Kuwait, as the longest flag, during the free fall in the world sport of skydiving in Qatar.
His Highness also received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, accompanied by Nicaragua’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Denis Colindres.
Colindres handed His Highness a letter from Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega on boosting bilateral relations on all levels.
His Highness the Amir hosted envoy of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Yasser Abbas, who handed His Highness a letter from the Palestinian president on boosting bilateral ties on all levels.
His Highness also met outgoing Ambassador of Nepal Yagya Bahadur Hamal.
The meetings were attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Acting National Assembly Speaker Issa Al-Kanderi at Bayan Palace on Sunday.
His Highness also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Crown Prince also received Sunday at Bayan Palace First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah accompanied by Lieut. Colonel Fahad Al-Yagoub, Commander Salem Al-Meil and Major Sheikh Nasser Fawaz Al-Sabah, for entering Guinness World Records by carrying the longest Kuwait flag while skydiving free fall.
His Highness the Crown Prince praised this achievement and the ability of Kuwaitis to raise the name of Kuwait during regional and international forums wishing them more success and progress.
His Highness the Crown Prince also received Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh. (KUNA)
