Kuwaiti man, woman die in different accidents
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Professor of Clinical Psychology at Kuwait University and Family Advisor at Ministry of Justice Dr Amina Al-Sammak says Kuwaiti families suffer from psychological and social problems caused by psychological factors such as disappointment, abstention from getting married, and even suicide, reports Al-Rai daily.
She explained that the brain of woman functions differently from that of a man. Fights between couples lead to non-reproduction.
The students of some schools in Kuwait suffer from psychological disorders caused by sexual transition and bullying. This is due to many psychological factors that require cooperation and combined efforts to find clinical psychological therapist to treat students who are negatively affected psychologically.
Dr Al-Sammak said Ministry of Justice assists in solving many problems that may occur between couples, adding that most of these problems erupt over simple reasons.
Two die in accidents:
A Kuwaiti woman died in a traffic accident that occurred in South Surra. Her corpse as referred to the Forensics Department, and an investigation was opened.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s died in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area when his car hit a concrete fence. His corpse was also referred to the Forensics Department. A case was registered.
3 hurt in brawl:
Three individuals were severely injured in a fight that broke out in Taima area.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a fight involving the use of butcher’s knives, securitymen rushed to the location but did not find anyone there. A witness informed them that the injured people were taken to Jahra Hospital in private vehicles prior to the arrival of the securitymen.
Securitymen rushed to Jahra Hospital, and arrested the suspects after they received treatment for their injuries. They have been detained in Taima Police Station for necessary legal action.
Hunt launched:
Criminal Investigations Department of Capital Governorate launched an extensive investigation to find and arrest an unknown individual who was in possession of a weapon, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to security sources, Capital securitymen were patrolling Grenata area when they suspected a motorist and ordered him to pull over. However, he pulled out a gun and shot in the air before
speeding off. Securitymen chased him until he reached Nahda area where he left his car and escaped on foot.
Securitymen searched the vehicle and found drugs and drug paraphernalia, which were seized and referred to the concerned authorities.
Investigations are ongoing to find the runaway suspect.
Wanted man nabbed:
A Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for a forgery case and a theft case has been arrested.
According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were on routine patrol duty when they suspected a citizen and checked his details to discover he was accused of fabricating official documents for buying three mobile phones on installment basis under the name of his friend, and then selling those
phones. He was also wanted by law for a case of theft of KD 50,000.
He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
Woman insults police:
A Kuwaiti woman has been arrested and put behind bars for humiliating and attacking police, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police on duty ordered the young woman behind the wheel to pull over for reckless driving.
The woman had her boyfriend in the passenger car and he was wanted by law and had been sentenced in absentia in money matters, while the woman was also not holding her identification documents.
They were taken to the police station and during interrogation she allegedly attacked and humiliated the officers on duty.
They were also reportedly drunk and police have seized from them a bottle containing some kind of liquid believed to be an alcoholic beverage.
The boyfriend has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
‘I just wanna swim’:
Police have arrested a young Kuwaiti youngster for ‘disturbing’ female visitors to the beach along the Arabian Gulf Street, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the arrest came after many young women called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry saying the man was a nuisance and that he looked disoriented.
When police confronted the man, he said ‘I just want to swim’. However, he has been referred to the authorities because he appeared abnormal.
