Kuwaiti kidnapped by gang of 5, assaulted in Jahra refuses to give details on suspects

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: Personnel from the Criminal Investigat­ion Department (CID) are looking for five men for kidnapping a Kuwaiti, who is in his 40s, taking him to a house in Jahra and mercilessl­y beating him, reports, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the suspects then forced the victim in the car took him to an open space in Jahra and took turns to beat him again before driving him to Hawalli and kicking him out of the car in front of a hotel apartment complex in Hawally.

The victim, who said he was forcibly dragged and taken to a car in full view of bystanders and driven to Jahra, has filed a complaint with the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station and submitted a medical report showing bruises, abrasions and sporadic injuries.

According to a security source the complainan­t did not give any details about the suspects for unknown reasons.

Auction for disputed plot:

A commercial plot of land measuring 16,000 square meters with a market value of about 60 million dinars and is believed to be at the center of a dispute among the heirs is expected to be sold in an auction, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources.

The sources pointed out that the heirs (members of the ruling family) who claim ownership to the land have allegedly rejected procedures upon power of attorney dating back to 27 years.

The sources said that the heirs who were affected commission­ed lawyers to file cases before the judiciary to stop and invalidate any action on the property, warning that the buyer is also under the responsibi­lity, and will be a victim facing legal issues and problems in the courts.

Cheat caretaker:

An Indian has filed a case of fraud against National Guard Society celebrated the graduation of students enrolled in the first summer training program from July 7 to Aug 29, 2019.

Assistant Director for Resources, Administra­tion and Financial Affairs Brigadier Reyad Al-Twari honored the graduates and stated

Husband gone missing:

Police are looking for an unidentifi­ed Kuwaiti on whom a missing persons report has been filed by his wife at a local police station, reports Al-Rai daily.

In her complaint the wife said her husband left in the morning and that she has been trying to contact him the whole day on his cell phone but to no the training program was in response to directives of the senior leadership of National Guard aimed at developing youth capability and achieving the strategic 2020 document on ‘Security First’.

A Kuwaiti woman has sought police protection after receiving insulting and abusive messages from her exhusband who is also said to have threatened to cause harm to her, reports Al-Rai daily.

The woman has provided a copy of messages her former husband sent to her as proof.

Bank account hacked:

Police are looking for an unknown person who is said to have hacked the bank account of a Kuwaiti woman and while teaching them the nature of work of the National Guard.

A Kuwaiti has filed a case of assault against two people who were armed with a dagger, reports Al-Anba daily.

The incident happened at dawn yesterday on the coastal road south of the country.

The Kuwaiti told police two unknown men assaulted him and submitted a medical report to substantia­te his claim.
