Al Qwassem crush KRAHS as Jordan Elites maintain lead

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12: Al Qwassem showed magnificen­tly their winning style when they demolished the rated team KRAHS 3,490-2,973, Asian Air Safari recorded their back to back victory over Swooping Eagles 3,025-2,877 while Jordan Elites remain the top one enjoying a four-week winning streak and the last victims were the Falcon Int’l Cargo 3,152-2,849 in the fourth week of the eliminatio­n round of the 2019 Philippine Bowling Associatio­n in Kuwait 33rd Anniversar­y Cup – Tenpin Bowling League at the Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club Complex in Salmiya, Kuwait. Other teams that registered wins against their rivals were GOAN Strikers vs SKARZ (3,002-2,675), ‘X’-Trikerz vs IBL Tigers (2,875-2,803), UNIMONI Exchange vs N 10 MID8TORS (3,067-2,815), Split Happens vs NUSANTARA (2,8302,795).

Another powerful team the Asian Air Safari and the cliff hangers Swooping Eagles collided in Lanes 45/46. Both teams were members of the elite group. In the first game of their encounter, the favored flying monsters overpowere­d the feathered monsters 976-893, but in the second game the Eagles were flying high and swooped the Asian Air 995-961. In their final game, Air Safari retaliated 1,063-989 and the final result was 3,025-2,877. The third winning streak of NUSANTARA was stopped by team Split Happens 2,8302,795, surprised losing the match despite winning two games. In the Individual High Game – Mens’ Class A/O – Al Qwassem’s Wahab Al Shatti grabbed from teammate Fadel Al Qassem the High Game (268-265); in Class B – Al Qwassem’s Saleh Faraj kept his record high (279); also in Class C – Jordan Elites’ Yousef Waleed held his old record (252); while in Ladies division Class A – Swooping Eagles’ Myra Manalo snatched from Asian Air Safari’s Sonia Mathews the high game (222-196 points) and in Class B – Christine Moreno still saved her 197 points. In the Individual High Average, Men’s Class A/O – Al Qwassem’s Wahab Al Shatti seized from Mousa Abdullah of UNIMONI the highest average 214.2-210.7; but in Class B – Al Qwassem’s Saleh Faraj retained his 199.1 medium; also Class C – Jordan Elites’ Yousef Waleed (179) and in the Ladies division, Class A – Sonia Mathews kept the position (180.8) while in Class B – Jordan Elites’ Basma Ammar grabbed from Jessica Balagat of Swooping Eagles 165.2-165) record.
