Youth volunteer teams launch national initiative for HH Amir
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17, (KUNA): Kuwaiti youth volunteer groups launched on Tuesday a national initiative to present a message to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The volunteer teams include Senyar Dive Team, Zajil, Netam, Kuwait Support and Rescue Team (KSRT), Aljawla, Takatof volunteer team and Sahabat Amal volunteer team.
The initiative carries a message of love to the leader of humanitarian work and to collect the largest number of signatures from Kuwaitis and residents, to express appreciation and gratitude to His Highness the Amir, with best wishes that the Almighty maintain his health and wellness.
Director General of the Public Authority for Youth (PAY) Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said in a press statement after meeting with the representatives of the volunteer teams that the national initiative carried out by the youth volunteer teams received support from YPA, adding that it is the voice of youth.
The volunteer teams will be present
in public places, universities, complexes and markets to collect vast number of signatures that signifies the meaning of loyalty from Kuwaiti youth to wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, adding that the YPA is keen to support all youth efforts to promote national unity, AlMutairi added.
Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah recently received in his office Ahmadi Health District Director Dr Ahmad AlShatti, Adan Hospital Director Dr Ammar Al-Baroun, Deputy Director of Adan Hospital Dr Jelil Al-Qattan,
Head of the Primary Healthcare Unit Dr Fahad Al-Azmi and Administrative Affairs Superintendent at Ahmadi Health District Abdullah AlManoukh.
The governor affirmed commitment of the governorate in maintaining direct communication with all places of work and production in Ahmadi, whether the public or private sector.
He said this is about keeping in mind the significance of team work, which has been working well in Ahmadi for several years. He emphasized importance of the health sector in the governorate considering its close link with life, health and safety of citizens and expatriates.
