‘The incubator of terror’

ubarak al-Duwailah has stated on more than one occasion that he and his religious political party in Kuwait has severed all ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is not a single instance or an occasion, beautiful or ugly, good or malicious, when he did not fiercely defend the Brotherhood and the history of this group.

It appears that the administrative problems related to his interests with the government which has long embraced him and bestowed upon him the best of its contracts, led him to almost fulltime defending the Brotherhood, and this is evidenced by his recent in- terview with the channel Shararat Al-Kuwait where he asked the interviewer to give him a single evidence of one terrorist operation launched by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The problem is not the answer to the question, but the availability of sufficient space in a 400-word article to answer it. It is not easy to cover the 90-year period of the ugly secret work of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is full of political conspiracies and assassinations for nearly a century.

In short, Egypt is the cradle and incubator of the Muslim Brotherhood, the largest single country in the world in terms of the number of terrorist incidents of a religious nature which occurred over the last sixty years, and targeted political, military and judicial personalities, military and civilian targets and places of worship and covered the entire Egyptian soil, and the terrorist religious groups were behind them.

Whoever has studied the history of the Muslim Brotherhood movement and looked at its slogan bearing two swords with the word ‘prepare’ is fully aware that it is not a peaceful civilian movement that loves freedom and accepts the opinion of others. Those who study the history of the movement know that its founder was keen to resemble the semi-military Nazi and Fascist movements in Europe.

The party’s iron-willed guards also played a key role in carrying out several assassinations. The first was the assassination of Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmad Maher in 1945, and then Judge Ahmad Al-Khazindar in 1948

for his role in convicting the Brotherhood youth involved in the 1948 Metro Cinema bombing.

The Brotherhood had played a role in the assassination of Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud Al-Nokkrashy, the attempt to assassinate Jamal AbdulNasser, then killing Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Al-Thahabi, former Minister of Egyptian Awqaf, and then Anwar el-Sadat, and up to Attorney General Hisham Barakat and scores of other victims.

The diaries and statements of those who remained or defected from the Brotherhood include unlimited testimonies of terrorist attacks launched by the Muslim Brotherhood. We wonder: Are all of the above accusations false, and that the Brotherhood is innocent and peaceful? What is the explanation to what is taking place in Egypt now, and the ongoing terrorist operations especially in the Sinai against the regime which had already toppled them and whether the perpetrators have nothing to do with the Brotherhood as well?

More importantly, we ask if terrorism is limited only to operations against military or civilian targets. What about their political crimes in various Arab countries, and the Gulf in particular? Have they even once sought to appoint the most qualified to occupy vacant senior positions, or did they desperately seek to appoint the most ignorant and inexperienced just because they were from the Muslim Brotherhood?

Isn’t this a sabotage that exceeds killing? What about their political cover up and the protection of senior officials, ministers and undersecretaries against prosecution for violations they have committed, is this not considered a kind of sabotage terrorism?

Is it possible to exonerate (relieve) all members of the Muslim Brotherhood from exposing senior officials to the interrogation if they do not fulfill their demands and give them organizational deals and others?

From all this we see that it is impossible to relieve the Brotherhood of all accusations against them, proved or not proven. It is enough that they were the first incubator of all terrorist movements that came out of their womb, such as al-Qaeda, the Islamic Jihad, Islamic Group, DAESH and others in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, the Gulf and many other countries.
