Buntara Sangha Kuwait felicitates two great personalities
The Managing Committee along with the members got an opportunity to meet, greet and felicitate two great personalities of Tulunadu, Dr Y. Bharat Shetty (MLA from North Mangalore) and K. Annamalai (IPS) on Oct 5 at Salmiya Play School. These guests were part of Bhartiya Pravasi Parishad (BPP) successful program which took place on Oct 4. Buntara Sangha Kuwait (BSK) likes to extend their gratitude to Raj Bhandary of BPP for giving an opportunity to BSK for a get-together session with the guests.
The get-together session commenced with a prayer song by Ms Tanvi Shetty. As part of our culture and tradition, lighting of the lamp was done by chief guests along with BSK managing committee and ex-presidents. BSK President Guruprasad Hegde addressed the gathering as well as highlighted on BSK upcoming program Buntaayana 2019 on Oct 18. It was one of the pride moments for BSK to honor and felicitate Dr Y. Bharat Shetty and K. Annamalai with a shawl and memento. Both renowned personalities shared thoughts on moral values through their inspiring words and wished the gathering for better future. BSK members had a great time speaking to the guests and taking photographs. The humble, kind and friendliness of the guest were much appreciated by all.
BSK President Guruprasad Hegde summarized the guests on BSK history as well highlighted the association philanthropy activities to society over the years. As a token of appreciation BSK member Vivek Shetty Belman gifted his masterpiece art creation of Hanuman image to the guests. Overall the get together was both productive and successful. The program was hosted by Mrs Deepa Prakash Shetty. Snacks and tea were provided by Oriental Restaurant.
