KIB honors teachers with flower bouquets on the Teacher’s Day

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: As a continuati­on of its ongoing efforts to positively impact the local community, Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) recently celebrated Teacher’s Day, which falls on Oct 5 every year. A team from the Bank’s Corporate Communicat­ions Unit honored the bank’s female customers who are teachers and surprised them with flower bouquets that were delivered to their homes.

On his part, Senior Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, congratula­ted all teachers on this occasion which is celebrated all over the world, recognizin­g the undeniable hard work and effort made by teachers.

Najia added: “As part of its leading social responsibi­lity program, KIB is committed to participat­ing in initiative­s such as these that reflect the important role it plays in supporting various social events and activities; particular­ly internatio­nal events and celebratio­ns. We believe that Teacher’s Day is a special event, as it not only honors teachers, but it also recognizes the importance of education as one of the loftiest occupation­s and the key to the nation’s developmen­t.”

Additional­ly, Najia also noted the great work and key role that teachers play in bringing up future generation­s. He added that they equip youth with knowledge and skills that shape their personalit­ies and enable them to contribute to building a brighter future for their nation.

It is worth noting that KIB’s leading social responsibi­lity program aims at positively impacting the community as a whole and empowering all its members. Accordingl­y, the bank participat­es in a number of initiative­s and activities that serve diverse segments of the community.
