KUWAIT CITY, Oct 16: The Audit Bureau (AB) has asked the Ministry of Information to recover the financial rewards paid to Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry, Ghalib Al-Osaimi, for presenting the program ‘Arabi with Ghalib’ before it was stopped, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The sources said the bureau has sent a letter to the ministry stressing the need to recover the money paid to Al-Osaimi, since the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information Munira Al-Huwaidi has stopped the program some time ago because of some observations and abuses related to the payment of these rewards.
It is noteworthy that MP Yusuf Al-Fadhala had asked a parliamentary question last June to the Minister of Information Mohammed AlJabri, about Al-Osaimi who reportedly held two positions, as an assistant undersecretary for financial affairs and a presenter of the program.
