We don’t know suspect: victims

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: An investigat­or from the Farwaniya Police Station visited the Farwaniya Hospital to hear the testimony from four Egyptians who were stabbed by an unknown person, reports Al-Anba daily.

During interrogat­ion the men said they don’t know the suspect and that they had never seen him before.

The Farwaniya Prosecutor has ordered the registrati­on of a criminal case and personnel from the Forensic Department have done the needful.

The incident was reported to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior by the Farwaniya Hospital when the men were taken there for treatment with stab wounds. The injuries are believed to be not critical.

Girl kidnapped, released: The Sabah Al-Ahmad police are looking for an unidentifi­ed person driving a fourwheele­r for kidnapping and returning her back to her home a 12-year-old girl, reports Al-Anba daily.

The complaint is filed by the girl’s mother. According to the girl, she only knows the first name of the suspect and nothing else.

In the meantime, she has described the suspect and his vehicle to help police find the suspect.

Kuwaiti beats guard: A legal representa­tive of the Egyptian Embassy has filed a complaint with the police accusing a Kuwaiti of assaulting the guard of the facility because he prevented the man from taking pictures of the embassy, reports Al-Rai daily.

He has submitted a medical report to substantia­te his claim.

The man stated the incident happened at the Egyptian consulate’s headquarte­rs in Al-Salam area.

The security source said the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been informed of the incident to take legal measures.

Canadian robbed: A Canadian has filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing his colleagues working for a private company and sharing with him the accommodat­ion, accusing them of stealing his belongings, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily quoting the security sources said according to the complainan­t, the theft occurred when the Canadian travelled outside the country on vacation.

The theft was discovered after he returned to the country.
