Cops discipline 3 kids:

Three school going children were summoned to the police station in the Hawalli governorat­e after the mother sought police help to discipline her children, reports Al-Rai daily.

This happened when the three children – primary and intermedia­te stages – remained glued to the PlayStatio­n game for more than seven hours and did not do their lessons and when the mother intervened to discipline them, they allegedly raised their hands on their mother.

At the police station, the officials are said to have confiscate­d the device and said they can play only on weekends, gave the children a bit of advice and released them after signing a document not to repeat the offence.

The daily without going into details of the incident said, the men fought over a dispute between them and that the prison authoritie­s will see the CCTV footage of the camera to find out what happened between the two inmates.

Maid commits suicide:

The remains of a Nepali housemaid who allegedly ended her life by hanging herself with her veil wrapped around her neck inside her sponsor’s home have been referred to Forensics for an autopsy, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the daily the death was reported to the police by the woman’s sponsor. When police went to the home of the victim they saw one end of the veil tied around the woman’s neck and the other to the ladder from his hung the corpse.

The sponsor of the maid has been summoned for his testimony.

Son injures mother:

An unidentifi­ed

woman is refusing to file a complaint against her son who is said to have assaulted her and injured her in the abdomen with a skewer, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the security sources when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police rushed to the house of the suspect and arrested the son and took him to the police station.

When police went to the hospital to take a statement from the mother, she said the incident happened by mistake and that she does not want to file a complaint against her son.

Milk on social media:

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has informed the Commercial Prosecutio­n to take legal action against an expatriate woman who is promoting the sale of ration powder milk for one dinar through the social media, reports Al-Rai daily.

The sources pointed out that the Ministry of Commerce believes that (the saleswoman) is violating the law even if she acquired the product legally.

Merciless

assault:

Two Kuwaitis have been arrested and referred for interrogat­ion for mercilessl­y beating an unidentifi­ed person following an argument between them and the victim inside a café in the Qurain market, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the security sources, the victim was rushed to the Adan Hospital by personnel from the Emergency Medical Services and immediatel­y admitted to the intensive care unit with fractures to the backbone and nose and bruises in the eyes.
