Pioneer helped people discover their true self
This is the third and last in a series of articles on Sheikha Anwar Faisal Al-Sabah, a pioneer in establishing the Neuro Linguistic Program in Kuwait.

– Editor r Sheikha Anwar’s interest in the ‘New Age’ sciences was enhanced by the discovery made in the eighties that only 5% of human DNA makes up our genes, the rest of the information locked in our DNA is unknown. It was also discovered that most potentials of our genetic pool remain dormant.
Till then DNA, the master plan of life, was assumed to be a complete set of blueprints of how to build an organism and replicas of that organism.
The discovery that only 3% of the DNA information is actually being used in the cells of many organisms and only 1% in humans, this leaves 99% of the human blueprint dormant.
With such a vast potentials waiting to be triggered, human development is beyond our wildest imagination!
In some rare instances some of those potentials come to the surface, such is the case of a young woman in Switzerland, who out of the blew she suddenly began visualizes words, numbers and sounds in a pattern of colors, she also became endowed with fabulous memory. Another example is a German young man who during his school days math was his nightmare, suddenly he began to process intricate equations and data in an instant. There was Turkish blind painter, who could create three dimensions pictures which artists with perfect vision find difficult to accomplish. a fraction of a second, it sets ablaze a new consciousness that transforms the individual’s whole outlook on life and changes his behavior completely.
The saints and sages who ever lived went through such a transcending experience at least once in their life time.
Once touched those people became the bearers of a truth, which the rest of humanity could only accept on belief, as nowadays we accept the New Age lexicon of pseudoscience and pseudo-mysticism.
The possibility that the interacting matrix of our individual genetic constitution holds instructions for our organism to be many different things, has been causing a sensation in scientific circles all around the world and flared the imagination of researcher.
This has given rise to myriad speculations and theories, some resulting in the birth of new-age pseudo-sciences, among which is the fast spreading Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Discipline
Each of these New Age science is presented as a discipline with its own set of rules, each is an avenue to a better understanding of our true nature and of our purpose as a species in the creative process.
Trying to unlock the hidden treasure in our genetic pool and tap the life force within us is our ultimate purpose as human beings, as free spirits in a human body seeking to break free from the bond of cultural inculcation that cloud our mind, keeping it from developing to its full awareness.
Dr Sheikha Anwar (God Bless her soul) was an enthusiast of this ongoing movement, in it she saw the reflection of the natural efflorescence of a mental development in the making, when humanity will overcome the transition from a state of uncertainty and fear to a greater awareness of its own purpose in the web of life.
We are on the threshold of an imminent development, an evolutionary quantum leap that will change humanity when it reaches the gateway of self-discovery in which tremendous possibilities await to be tested.

are spreading across the planet, triggering a holistic consciousness by which we are beginning to see ourselves not as separate entities in the matrix of life, but part of the same creative process encompassing the whole creation: life, stars, planets, black holes and galaxies.
It is a quantum leap into a new reality that transforms our very existence physically, mentally and morally.
Creation is born of chaos. The 20th century has been a supremely chaotic century unlike any others in human history. Two world wars and scores of civil wars and revolutions have created a slaughter house of our planet. Human suffering has been further intensified by horrendous new diseases, some engendered by external causes, but many by overstress and emotional instability.
The latter has also caused appalling violence and widespread terrorism.
In the midst of all this confusion humanity clings onto the only ray of sanity it has left to sail through the stress and storm of transition into the new civilization.
Fundamental
This ray of sanity is in the form of a growing spiritual seeking surging from the deep searching of those who have mastered the fundamentals of normal human life and have reached a point of self discovery that goes beyond materialistic wants.
Dr Sheikha Anwar based her conviction in the tangible improvement she saw in her patients, after they underwent treatment and were trained to discover their true self.
Knowing our true being is synonymous with holding the key to our happiness, to the cure from the mechanical process of sickness, to our well being and success in life.
Only to be able to overcome the emotional stress that cripples our life energy, is in itself a leap in the right direction, for it enhances the chances of tuning in with the living force of our being, with the subtle inner world of our sub-consciousness, and reach the transcendental mental state, which is much more than an intellectual exercise.
In coming closer to the Ultimate, Transcendent Reality our whole behavior will be transformed, we’ll become more humble and loving, more altruistic and caring, more compassionate and forgiving. This is the essence of every great religion.
Sheikha Anwar’s passionate involvement in the New Age psychology brought her on to a new stage of consciousness in which she discovered her true purpose in life through giving without expectations, in it she found the subtlest form of joy and happiness and the fulfillment she sought in life. God bless her soul, her passage through this world was not in vain.
