MEW prioritizes Kuwaitis in its services
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: Director of Public Relations in Ministry of Electricity and Water Engineer Iqbal Al-Tayyar affirmed that care for Kuwaiti citizens is a priority for the ministry as enshrined in its strategic clauses issued by Minister of Electricity and Water Dr Khalid Al-Fadhel, reports Aljarida daily.
Al-Tayyar declared that the ministry is committed to diversifying methods for sensitizing people about its activities, stressing that it ensures coordination with various authorities in the country through a series of visits to educate the public about rationalization.
She affirmed the keenness of the ministry to expand training, education and spreading knowledge through different campaigns for workers of the ministry or through activities aimed at educating students in the schools and higher institutions of learning affiliated to Ministry of Education.
Dr Al-Tayyar stressed that the ministry has opened its doors for students to visit its facilities in order to identify the work processes in those locations, which will enable them to see the methods of production and the concerted efforts put into ensuring the provision of best services to consumers.
The parliamentary Budgets and Final Accounts Committee met on Sunday to discuss several issues, the most important of which are the financial violations in the 2018/2019 budget recorded by the audit agency, reports Al-Rai daily.
A source revealed the committee also tackled employment issues that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) included in its 2018/2019 fiscal year report. Representatives of the CSC and the auditors were present in the meeting.
