‘X’-Trikerz snatch last finals’ seat while N 10 MID8TORS ejected

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: The three contenders for the last ticket to the elimination finals were N 10 MID8TORS, “X”-Trikerz and Falcon Int’l Cargo who rank 8, 9, 10 respectively. The N 10 MID8TORS was in advantage position with 18 pins behind the No. 7 team NUSANTARA and 220 points over the ninth and tenth placer. Although the “X”-Trikerz lost its game against the Indonesian team, the fighting spirit was present, consistency never lost with the presence of their mentor and idol, they snatched the last seat for the team finals of the 2019 Philippine Bowling Association in Kuwait 33rd Anniversary CupTenpin Bowling League being held at the Kuwait Bowling Sporting Club Complex in Salmiyah. The teams that registered victory were GOAN Strikers vs KRAHS (2789-2652), Al Qwassem vs Asian Air Safari (3,195-2,584), Swooping Eagles vs N 10 MID8TORS (3,185-2,748), NUSANTARA vs “X”Trikerz (3,005-2,959), UNIMONI Exchange vs Jordan Elites (2,896-2,762), Falcon Cargo vs SKARZ (2,7442,670) and IBL Tigers playing bye.
In spite of the fact that the Swooping Eagles was secured as member of the Top 8, still played their best and swept the three-game against the placid N 10 MID8TORS, 1,069-938, 1,037-934, 994-876. The N 10 MID8TORS did not show any resistance and remain calm until the last throw and waited for the official count because of their advantage against two other teams. to sweep the three-game series against the 4-man team Asian Air Safari 1,016-864, 1,126-869, 1,028-851. Although the conflict was no bearing the All Stars validated that they are the potential champion in the on-going league with 10-3 win-lose record while Asian Air registered 9-4 record. The prolific scorers of the Al Qwassem gang were Hassan Al Qassem (742) who scored 230/258/254, Yacoub Al Shatti (688) delivered 259/230/199 followed by the patriarch Fadel Al Qassem (576), Saleh Faraj (498), Ali Jawli (323) and Ali Al Qattan (127). For the losers the big pointer was Mohammad Karam scoring 169/220/220 (609) assisted by Aqeel Al Farisy (563), Sonia Mathews (520) and Ghadeer Al Sarraf (307) and their defeat bring them down from fourth to sixth place.
Finally, another pairing of two colossus of the league, third rank UNIMONI Exchange subdued the second rank Jordan Elites, 2,896-2,762. The match up has no bearing only change in ranking so both team fielded only four bowlers each and UNIMONI won the second game (994-946) and third game (1,013-887) while Jordan got the first game (929864). UNIMONI bowlers were Mousa Abdullah (631), Rudy de Lima (530), Ahmad Fadil Karam (493), Jang Hosiung (487) and Alex Nodalo (172) while Jordan Elites were Fadi Al Masri (623), Ali Hikmat (550), Basma Ammar (501) and Yousef Waled (490). Goan Strikers overpowered KRAHS in game one 963-865 and game two 934-838 while KRAHS won game three 959-867 and the victory goes to GOAN Strikers but ranking did not change and KRAHS still clinched the fifth post. IBL Tigers played bye and scored 2,930 and Ulysses Manezes was declared bowler of the week when he scored 537 points. I n d i vidual Best Results.
