Fajar to return home on Dec 12 after treatment
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Kuwaiti TV anchor Fajar Al-Saeed posted a video on her Twitter account in which she can be seen leaving a hospital in France, reports Al-Rai daily.
She explained in the video that she left the hospital after receiving treatment and recovering, adding that she is having lunch with her family.
Al-Saeed said she is planning to return to Kuwait on Dec 12, and she will be accompanied by Dr Alexander Rault who accepted her invitation to see her country and her family, adding that she extended the invitation to the doctor to thank him for saving her life.
Meanwhile, from the heart of Rome – the capital of Italy – where the weather is currently cold and to the tune of famous Kuwaiti wedding song ‘Hab Al-Saad’; Kuwaiti shooter Shahd AlHawwal celebrated her wedding with Italian citizen Ali, who chose this name after becoming a Muslim, in the presence of a large crowd of family and friends who were keen to attend the wedding, reports Al-Rai daily.
Among those present at the wedding were broadcaster Sameera Abdullah, fashionista Noura Al-Omairi and cousin of the bride artiste Abdullah Bu Shahri.
The wedding festivities, which started in the morning and continued until evening, showcased a blend of Kuwaiti-Italian culture. The bride arrived at the venue in a white car and then she went to the open square where the wedding was held to the tune of ‘Hab Al-Saad’.
The family of the bride made it a point to hold a Kuwaiti wedding ceremony during which Kuwaiti and Italian songs were played.
