n one of his articles, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, the local branch of the International Brotherhood, justified the existence of the phrase “prepare” and drew two swords and the Holy Quran in the Brotherhood’s slogan, thus:

The group came into existence in 1928, after the Balfour Declaration and the beginning of the Jews’ entry into Palestine, and after putting all the countries of the Arab world under the French, the British, and the Italian Mandate.

The nation had to work hard to liberate the lands from the foreign colonizer who did not respect the will of the peoples and did not give any consideration to their freedom and their dignity; therefore was the conviction of Imam al-Banna (founder and mentor of the Supreme Brotherhood) that jihad in the cause of God is the path to freedom from slavery and foreign occupation!.

The writer described these words, or the words of his supreme leader, as a big move that the cultural claimants (like us) can hardly comprehend!

On this occasion, we would like to remind this brother of what was issued by the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Yasser Ali on July 19, 2012 that the late Egyptian president Mohammad Morsi, representative of the Brotherhood in government, accepted the nomination of his new ambassador in Tel Aviv, and the following is the text of Morsi’s speech addressed to his great friend, President of the Republic of Israel, which established the Brotherhood as the basis for the liberation of Muslim lands from the occupiers: From: Mohammad Morsi President of the Republic of

Egypt To HE Shimon Peres President of the State of Israel Great and Good Friend, Being desirous of maintaining and strengthening the cordial relations which happily exist between our two countries, I have selected Mr Atef Mohammad Salem to be our Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Having already had ample experience of Mr. Atef Mohammad Salem El Ahl’s talents and zeal for our service. I doubt not that he will fulfill the important duties of his embassy in such a manner to merit Your Excellency’s approbation and esteem, and to prove himself worthy of his new mark of our confidence.

Mohammad Salem El Ahl shall have occasion to communicate to you in my name more especially when he shall express to Your Excellency our sincere wishes for your happiness and for the prosperity of your country.

Highest esteem and consideration Yours sincerely, (Mohammad Morsi) Given at the Presidency of the Republic of Cairo Sha’aban 29. 1433 A.H July 19, 2012 AD.

After this, can our friend (the one who describes two swords) explain this contradiction in words and attitudes to calm our souls and reassure our hearts, especially since we have little understanding and knowledge, and our heart is shrouded in knowing how the “jihad in the way of God will be done to get rid of servitude and foreign occupation”, as mentioned in his explanation or justification – the meaning of the presence of the two swords in the slogan of the Muslim Brotherhood?

And does anyone who sends such messages to Israel really intend to eliminate them ... in the future?

We hope to receive a response to our questions.
