Gulf Bank distribute­s prizes to Qout Market visitors

Bank supports young entreprene­urs as title sponsor of event Al Kout awards long-serving employees

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: As part of its ongoing efforts to support the local community and the developmen­t of the local economy, Gulf Bank participat­ed as a title sponsor at this year’s Qout Market. The market, which is currently in its seventh season, took place last Saturday at Abraj Park in Adailiya. At the market, Gulf Bank hosted an entertainm­ent area with a variety of activities in which guests took home cash prizes and more.

This year’s Qout Market hosted a variety of restaurant­s, artisanal craft shops, farm produce, and other businesses owned by young entreprene­urs, who used this opportunit­y to showcase their fresh goods to the market’s visitors. Local chefs also attended the market, and prepared freshly cooked meals for market-goers.

Qout Market launched its seventh season this past weekend at Abraj Park in Adailiya, and is set to take place over the course of three more Saturdays from January to March. The upcoming markets will take place on Jan 11, Feb 8, and March 7 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qout Market, an artisanal farmer’s market establishe­d in 2013 with the aim of empowering the local community through seasonal initiative­s, focuses on small and medium-sized vendors specializi­ng in farm produce, artisanal crafts and locally made food products.
