Two Egyptians die in accidents

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: A 27-year-old Kuwaiti girl was shot dead by her brother in Mubarak Al-Kabeer with an air rifle.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received about the shooting, securityme­n and paramedics rushed to the location, and found the deceased victim. Her corpse was referred to the Forensics Department.

Her brother, who is in his 30s, admitted to shooting her with his “Shozen” (air rifle). He was arrested and referred to the concerned authoritie­s for investigat­ions.

Egyptians dead:

Two Egyptian expatriate­s died when their vehicles collided on King Fahad Expressway near Jabriya area.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received informatio­n about the accident, securityme­n, firefighte­rs and paramedics rushed to the location.

The corpses were referred to the Forensics Department, and a case was registered. The vehicles were removed from the road, and the traffic flow was organized.

Meanwhile, a heavy vehicle toppled on Sixth Ring Road near Sabah Al-Salem area resulting in injuries to the driver. Paramedics referred him to the nearest hospital for treatment, and the vehicle was removed from the road by firefighte­rs.

Woman perishes:

A Kuwaiti woman in her 50s died and another Kuwaiti citizen sustained injuries when their vehicles collided at the end of Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway.

According to security sources, securityme­n and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving informatio­n about the accident. The injured citizen was referred to the nearest hospital for treatment, and the corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department.

Investigat­ions have been launched to determine the cause of the accident. A case was registered.

Kuwaiti expires:

A 33-year-old Kuwaiti died in a three-vehicle collision on the Sixth Ring Road near Jahra area.

A security source said the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received informatio­n about the incident and dispatched a team of rescue men to the scene to deal with the incident. The citizen had already succumbed to his injuries before the officers arrived at the scene, so the remains were deposited to Forensics, and a case was registered.
