Bhavans Toastmasters Club marks 7th Annual Day with pomp, pride

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Bhavans Toastmasters Club celebrated the 7th club anniversary with its all pomp and pride on Dec 14. The Sergeant At Arms TM Bessy Mathai opened the meeting and explained the ground rules. The club President TM Sunil Thomas, warmly welcomed all the dignitaries, toastmasters and guests. The president introduced the vibrant masters of the ceremony TM Santhosh Pathros and TM Prasanth. Their presentation of the word of the day “Jubilation“and the theme of the day “Celebration” was so charming that the audience greeted them with thunderous applause.
The veteran Toastmaster, DTM Anilkumar G. Ravengar, enlightened the audience with the illustration on “The Benefits of Toastmasters”. Master Karthik, (son of TM Prasanth) brought the real jubilation to the audience through his mesmerising cinematic dance. The highlight of the event, the keynote speech was given by The DTAC 2019 International Speech Champion TM Hesham Essa. It was really a tips and tricks on how to nail international speech. A new feather was added on to the cap of BTC (Bhavans Toastmasters Club) on the same day by the launching of the Club’s YouTube channel which was the meticulous enthralling of the professional videographer TM Latif Mansoor Ali. The Newsletter which was the token of the hardship of the VPPR TM Santhosh Pathros was published by the District 20 Director DTM Waffa Salman.
The melodious songs sung by the nightingale of BTC TM Mahesh Iyer, Principal Smart Indian School was really a euphoria for the audience. The Table Topic section (impromptu speaking) was well organized by the sanguine toastmaster, TM Sheeba. The event was more sweetened by the cake cutting by the charted members and dignitaries along with the clun Excom. Toastmasters officials from District Division and area graced the occasion. DTM Waffa Salman, Distict 20 Director PQD from Baharain DTM Mohammed Salim, Distict Club Growth Director DTM Alka Kumra, District Finance Manager DTM Christy Kulathooran, Division Director DTM Murali Manohar, Division F Director DTM Fatema Abdou, Area Director TM Xavier Yesudas, BTC Charter member TM Xavier Muthu, officials from other clubs, friends and families of BTC members all added much beauty to the awesome evening.
Token of appreciation and awards were presented to DTM AnilKumar G. Ravengar, DTM Sindhumol Thomas, TM Sunil Thomas, TM Premugh and TM Mansoor Ali. A special trophy was given to TM Sheeba for being the best TM of 2018-2019. All the role players and various committee members were given certificates and the educational awards were given for completing different levels in Pathways by AD TM Xavier. The Event Chair, TM Beetha Johnson expressed her gratitude in her vote of thanks to each and every one who raised the event to an unparalleled one .The enthusiastic photographer, TM Latif captured every moment and the event was winded up by a group photo session. Through this program BTC has once again proved the solidarity and fraternity of its strong Excom and club members.
