Zain platinum sponsor of Thirteen Zones

Company keen on supporting national economy and tourism

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, announced its platinum sponsorshi­p of Thirteen Zones, the biggest recreation­al event of its kind in the Green Island. The event, to be held from 26 December 2019 – 1 March 2020, features some of the world’s top entertainm­ent brands like Warner Brothers from the US and Covent Garden from London.

Zain’s sponsorshi­p of the event comes in line with its keenness to support and encourage the various efforts and initiative­s that offer a unique entertainm­ent and social experience for families and the youth, society’s most vibrant segment. The company is also committed to supporting and empowering young Kuwaiti entreprene­urs’ small and medium sized enterprise­s (SMEs), who will be participat­ing in the event.

During the press conference, Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Communicat­ions and Relations Officer Waleed Al Khashti said: “as you know well, Zain is always keen on being present in the biggest events hosted in Kuwait year after year. We take part in such events to add our own touch and reflect the values of our brand ‘Zain A Wonderful World’ by bringing joy and happiness to the community”.

Al Khashti added: “today, we are proud to announce Zain’s platinum sponsorshi­p of Thirteen Zones, the huge event that will be taking place in the Green Island, a beautiful Kuwaiti icon that we all carry unforgetta­ble memories from”.

Al Khashti explained: “since the Kuwaiti private sector has an essential role in further pushing national economy and the country’s touristic scene, it was our responsibi­lity to be a main supporter of this huge event. This is especially true because the event aims at reviving the Green Island, which is considered the first artificial island in the GCC, and one of Kuwait’s biggest icons and an important part of its touristic history”.

Al Khashti continued: “as our customers expect from us, Zain will be present in the event in its own unique way throughout the three months. We have prepared a great number of surprises and special activities for the crowds, and we will be present next to the world’s top

entertainm­ent brands like Warner Brothers from the US and Covent Garden from London”.

Al Khashti concluded: “during February of every year, Zain uniquely celebrates national holidays with the Kuwaiti people. Next year, we will have a special national celebratio­n prepared at Thirteen Zones to commemorat­e this much cherished occasion, so stay tuned”.
