Kuwait hosts Arab Tennis Federation General Assembly

The General Assembly of Arab Tennis Federation was held in Kuwait on Wednesday, Dec 18.
The meeting was headed by President of Arab Tennis Federation and Kuwait Tennis Association Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and held in the presence of representatives of the tennis associations of 16 countries - Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Amman, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauretania, and Yemen in addition to Kuwait.
Secretary General of the Arab Sports Federation Saud bin Ali Al-Abdulaziz attended the general assembly as its observer.
During the general assembly, it was approved to shift the headquarters of Arab Tennis
Federation to Kuwait.
Also, amendments to the basic system of the Arab Tennis Federation was approved in order for it to be in line with the system of International Federation of Tennis. In addition, the schedule of activities and competitions of the year 2020 was agreed on.
Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sabah expressed his appreciation for the trust of the members of the general assembly in Kuwait and their unprecedented presence, and he thanked Egypt for the custody of the headquarters of the Arab Tennis federation for a long time.
It is worth mentioning that the attendees visited the Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah International Tennis Complex.
