Al-Shatti preparing for first-time production experience in career
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: Young Kuwaiti writer Othman Al-Shatti is preparing for the first-time production experience in his artistic career, through the family play “Trampoline”, written and directed by Shamlan Hani Al-Nassar, which is being done in preparation for its exhibition during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, reports Al-Anba daily.
He said: The play will be a “surprise” and soon we will announce the names of people participating in it.
Al-Shatti told the daily, before the blessed month of Ramadan and Eid, we will hold the “Be Happy Festival” on the 12th of next March at the Medical Professions House in Jabriya.
In another context, Al-Shatti talked about his movie “Wheel” and said: The film has won more than ten international awards in six countries, and said he is proud of these achievements that confirm Kuwait’s presence in these huge international forums “Although there is a lack of support.”
Meanwhile, Abeer Al-Jundi continues to work on the TV drama series “In Memory of Shadow”, written by Maryam Naseer and directed by Mohamed Kazem co-starring Dawoud Hussein, Ahmed Iraj, Shaima Ali, Yaqoub Abdullah, Muhammad Safar, Farah Al Mahdi, Yaasa, Dr Shaya Al-Shaya, Ali Al-Ali, Gharour, Abdullah Abdulredha and many others.
In this regard, Al-Jundi revealed the features of her dramatic personality by saying she plays the character of Suhaila, the wife of Abdel-Hadi, the villain played by Dawoud Hussein.
She plays the role of sacrificing love for the sake of raising her children, as “I personally tend to be very attracted to the human side of the personality, which is what I see in Suhaila”.
She continued saying the beautiful series is produced by the ambitious young man with great thought and awareness – Abdullah Abdulredha, the grandson of the late artiste AbdulHussein Abdulredha.
The artiste Ahmed Al-Awadi is preparing for the Ramadan drama season including two theatrical performances for the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr season, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Al-Awadi told the daily, “I will participate in the coming Ramadan in a new role unlike before in the series ‘Kasrat Zahr’ written by Abdullah Al-Saad and directed by Ahmed Yaqoub Al-Maqla.”
He explained that for the first time he plays the role of a peaceful person and even loses the ‘love of his life’. He said the events will unfold a great paradox, as he turns from his weak self to an unexpected personality that increases the excitement.
Furthermore, the young artiste Mansour AlBalushi says he is happy to be participating in the TV show next Ramadan through the series ‘In Memory of Shadow’, amid intense competition coming from the dramas satellite TV channels which are competing during the holy month, reports Al-Anba daily.
