Mahoney, Yale edge Cornell in 2OT

Ary-Turner, Knight carry Dartmouth past Penn 66-59

ITHACA, New York, Feb 22, (AP): August Mahoney’s layup with two seconds left gave Ivy League leaders Yale an 81-80 double-overtime victory over Cornell that also included the first triple-double in Bulldogs history by Jordan Bruner.

Bruner had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for Yale, only the third triple-double recorded in league history, joining Dartmouth’s Ian McGinnis (2001) and Brown’s Jason Forte (2004).

Paul Atkinson had 16 points and nine rebounds for Yale (19-6, 7-2). Eric Monroe added 15 points and seven assists, and Azar Swain had 12 points and six rebounds.

Buffalo 104, Kent St 98, 2OT In Kent, Ohio, Jayvon Graves made a 3-pointer with 2:11 left in double overtime to give Buffalo the lead for good en route to a 104-98 win over Kent State.

The Bulls would not relinquish the advantage.

Roberts scored a career-high 23 points for the Golden Flashes (17-10, 7-7). Troy Simons added 15 points. C.J. Williamson had 12 points.

Dartmouth 66, Penn 59 In Hanover, NH, Trevon Ary-Turner had 19 points as Dartmouth topped Penn 66-59. Chris Knight added 16 points for the Big Green, while Aaryn Rai chipped in 15.

Devon Goodman had 17 points for the Quakers (13-9, 5-4 Ivy League). Lucas Monroe added 12 points. Jordan Dingle had 11 points.

The Big Green leveled the season series against the Quakers with the win. Penn defeated Dartmouth 5446 on Feb 1. Dartmouth (10-14, 3-6) matches up against Princeton at home on Saturday.

Saint Louis 80, VCU 62 In St Louis, Javonte Perkins had 25 points as Saint Louis topped VCU 8062.

Hasahn French had 18 points for Saint Louis (19-8, 8-6 Atlantic 10 Conference). Terrence Hargrove Jr added 11 points. Jordan Goodwin had 10 points.

Marcus Santos-Silva had 11 points for the Rams (17-10, 7-7), who have now lost four consecutiv­e games. De’Riante Jenkins added 10 points.

Oakland 75, Milwaukee 68

In Rochester, Michigan, Xavier HillMais had 23 points and 11 rebounds as Oakland defeated Milwaukee 75-68.

Rashad Williams had 16 points for Oakland (11-17, 6-9 Horizon League). Daniel Oladapo added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tray Maddox Jr had 11 points.

Darius Roy had 18 points and six rebounds for the Panthers (12-15, 7-8). DeAndre Abram added 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Josh Thomas had 14 points.

LIU 86, FDU 81 In Teaneck, NJ, Ty Flowers scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Long Island beat Fairleigh Dickinson 86-81.

Jermaine Jackson Jr scored 21 points, Raiquan Clark 20 points and Virshon Cotton 16 points for Long Island (13-15, 8-7 Northeast Conference).

Julian Batts made a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left for an 84-80 lead. Xzavier Malone-Key made 1 of 2 free throws for FDU before Cotton sank two from the line with three seconds remaining for the final score.

Jahlil Jenkins had 25 points and six assists for the Knights (8-18, 6-9). Kaleb Bishop added 18 points and nine rebounds.

Elyjah Williams had 17 points and 11 rebounds. Robert Morris 68, Mount St Mary’s

60 In Moon Township, Pa, Josh Williams had 22 points as Robert Morris topped Mount St Mary’s 68-60.

Tied at 57 with under three minutes to play, Jon Williams hit a deep 3-pointer from the wing, and Josh Williams added a 3 with 1:02 left for a five-point lead.

Yannis Mendy had 13 points and seven rebounds for Robert Morris (1613, 12-4 Northeast Conference). A.J. Bramah added 10 rebounds.

Jalen Gibbs had 19 points for the Mountainee­rs (10-18, 6-9), whose losing streak reached five games. Vado Morse added 10 points, and Damian Chong Qui had six rebounds.

Quinnipiac 66 Canisius 64 In Hamden, Conn, Kevin Marfo had 12 points, 12 rebounds, and a late block to lead Quinnipiac to a 66-64 win over Canisius.

Aaron Falzon went 1 of 2 at the freethrow line with 13.4 seconds to give Quinnipiac a 66-64 lead, Scott Hitchon drove the lane for a potential gametying layup, but it blocked by Marfo. Hitchon got it back before missing a baseline jumper.

Majesty Brandon had 12 points and six rebounds for the Golden Griffins (9-17, 4-11), whose losing streak stretched to four games. Armon Harried and Jordan Henderson each had 12 points.
