GKPA elects Salmiya-Hawally area office bearers for 2020-21

The joint public meeting of the Global Kerala Pravasi Association’s Salmiya-Hawally areas, organized at Salmiya Central Hall on Feb 14, elected the area office bearers for the year 2020-21. The executive team members for Salmiya area are: Pramod Kurup (Convener), Soby George (Secretary), Sajimon Joseph (Treasurer), Sajini Vengapally (Joint Convener), Pradeep Kumar P. (Joint Secretary), Mansoor Kinallur (Joint Secretary), Lailamma George (Women’s Representative).

Pramod Kurup presided over the meeting, welcome speech was delivered by Sajimon Joseph. GKPA General Secretary M.K. Prasanan, Women’s Chairperson Ambili Narayanan and Women’s Secretary Ambika Mukundan felicitated the speeches. Core Admin Ravi Pangode controlled the elections. Latheef Manammal, Mubarak Kambrath and Ullas Udayabhanu led the NORKA/Welfare Scheme registration. Sandeep Kottayam led folk songs of Karimboli, Pushpavalli’s Hornbill skits, Surendran Wayanad’s mimicry, Sunil Vadakara’s songs and the dance performance by Trassk Balavedi Abbasiya were performed on stage. The special dinner was prepared by the members under the leadership of Mansoor Kinallur was a plus experience for attendees.
