The Tripartite Committee comprising members from the ministries of Commerce and Industry, Social Affairs, Interior and the Kuwait Municipality raided a massage parlor in Salmiya and arrested a Filipino and a Moroccan for practicing immoral activity with young clients, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the parlor was operating despite a ban imposed by the concerned authorities in view of the spread of corona virus.
It is believed the suspect received between 120 dinars at (60 dinars for one hour). The suspects admitted during interrogations that they ‘earned about 500 dinars daily).
Eng. Mohammad Al-Dhafiri who represents the Public Authority for Manpower on the Tripartite Committee said the suspects were born in 1997 and have been referred to the Department of Communicable Diseases to ensure they are not infected by any diseases. He pointed out all those who came in contact with them will also be referred to the department.
This is in addition to placing the parlor under Article 72, which symbolizes the closure of the employer’s file and the deportation of the arrested employees from the country.
Bid to kill daughter: An unidentified man has been arrested for attempting to kill his daughter inside their flat in Jabriya area, reports Al-Rai daily.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a distress call from a 13-year old girl who said her father tried to kill her, Hawally securitymen were dispatched to the flat in Jabriya area, and both the father and daughter were referred for investigations on the incident.
The daughter informed securitymen that she managed to run into her room and lock the door before her father could kill her. However, her father denied the allegation. A case was registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
